Muchungucha, a sublocation located in Mbiri ward, Kiharu constituency, Muranga County has not been left behind in experiencing the most common challenge in many communities in Kenya. Due to the gravity level most residents of Muchungucha community have not been connected to water from the local water company namely: Muranga water and sanitation company limited (muwasco). This has constantly resulted to people traveling for long distances in search of water for home consumption. This has accelerated our urge to offer a helping hand to this community.

It is with joy that the Muchungucha community received a mega blue tank that will rest them from everyday long walks. The tank now comes as one of over 100 tanks constructed by Can do kids international organization led by Eng. Karanja Mburu Wamatangi. Muchungucha community serves as one of the best examples of our commitment as an organization to solving water challenges for all. As noted, many communities still experience water problems even in the 21st century,  and as a result of poor hygiene, many diseases have come to rise

The reception of community members showed us their need for this tank, they expressed it as a gift that they will always be happy with. During the commissioning of this tank, they added that they have been suffering from waterborne diseases from time to time, and to them, this will act as a vaccine for this disease. On behalf of can-do kids international, we believe that this project will improve the livelihood of this community. We look forward to building more tanks for needy communities and bringing clean water to them. We are always grateful for the support that we receive from individuals,  organizations, and well-wishers in aid of accomplishing our mission.

The time for Muchungucha community has arrived, a mega blue tank, 300000 liters for them.
