WHAT IF EVERY CHILD HAS THEIR OWN BIBLE?

Donating a Good News Bible to the primary schools can have many benefits. For one, it can help introduce children to the Christian faith. Additionally, it can provide them with a valuable resource for learning about the Bible and its stories hence growing in the Christian faith. Moreover, it can improve students’ performance in Christian religious education and other subjects.  Finally, it can be a way to show support for the school and its educational mission. As the main reference book in the Kenya Christian religious education, good news bible will improve the performance of the primary school students.

After coming to my concern that many of our schools do not have enough bibles for their religious education, we have embarked on this project to ensure all the primary school students have bible to read from schools and from home. During our first face we have donated good news bibles to ten schools in Kiharu including Marewa, Upendo, Maragi, Gikuu, Matongu, Munyutha and Mukangu primary schools. The response from the teachers shows that indeed there is need of this book in our schools.

Students have been using a lot of time reading the bible from the internet while doing their Christian religion assignments which exposes them bad contents. As reported by some of head teachers in the visited schools, teachers have been struggling due to lack of bible as a reference book in class.  We are committed to doing the other faces soon and calling upon all the well-wishers to partner with us in this noble project in answering the question- What if every child has a bible?
