Kahuro secondary school tank groundbreaking ceremony

It was a day of jubilation to Kahuro secondary school fraternity upon the receipt of their promise and longtime prayer- a prayer for water. Kahuro secondary is one of the growing public mixed secondary schools in Murang’a county, Kiharu constituency, and Kahuro sub-county. Great is the news of permanently solving a problem you have been experiencing for a long time. The school management has been longing for this day, a day when they will physically see their difficulty solved.

Representing the Can Do Kids international organization, my team led the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kahuro secondary school mega blue tank. The tank with a capacity of 300000 liters will immediately commence construction and within 100 days, it will be fully complete and ready for use. Our mission is to make sure that the school will forget the water trouble in the future. The tank will not only provide an ample supply of clean water but will also save a huge amount of money that the school has been paying for water bills over the years.

We were happy to note from the school principal that this is what they have been desiring for a long to have a better environment for learning. She added that there will be an improvement in hygiene as they will always have access to clean water.

In conclusion, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Kahuro secondary tank was a significant event marking the beginning of a new chapter for the school. The new tank will provide an adequate supply of water, improve the hygiene level and save the school lots of money. It is such a noble cause that Can Do Kids International is undertaking. We join hands to better our future generations.
